- OMG - after surviving the trauma of Rome airport (no English, kids tired after 12 hours living life as a sardine on Lufthansa, mobile phone not working, can't find ATM so no Euro and I discover I've got CANKLES!) we get into crazy fast cab, drive through ugly Rome and start to panic about online booking and then, arrive in heaven - Campo de Fiori!

We discovered you can walk to everything - Trevi Fountain, Colleseum etc. Kids are starting to perk up, the power of Italian gelato & some random gladiators...
Lastly and most importantly (girls!) I have just bought a pair of killer brown suede high boots (150 euro) and some acqua wedges - bellissimo!

Its fun travelling with kids! Rome is gorgeous but the traffic - not so great. So far so good Stef-o-Rama.

ReplyDeleteTold you that compression socks / stockings were a sensible idea...and we're just trying to find some sort of reference to treating cankles with 'killer brown high heeled boots' while walking km's a day round Roma...no luck yet. Love the apartment - how Rome is that! And looks like Earl was more into the Gladiators than the kids...
