Koh Samed and malaria

After 2 frustrating days trying to use wireless network in Bangkok hotel, we are finally able to connect to outside world. Funnily enough it took 2.5 hours driving & one very wild speed boat ride to Koh Samed before I could finally find a wireless network that worked - go figure!

Henry and Earl both have some kind of cold and H having some difficulty coming to terms with different time zones (heated argument with Earl @ 3.00am this morning that it was really 6.00am - 3 or 6, it's a rubbish time 2 wake up!) So far, Henry has expressed concern about possibly having rabies, typhoid and/or malaria. Mental note to self - don't take him to doctor prior to next o/s trip - he is now an expert on most gruesome tropical illnesses.

Tori is loving the people in Thailand, lots of temples and giant Buddhas. Henry loved the swimming pool at first hotel, riding in a Tuk Tuk and the crazy speedboat ride (with kids sitting up the front of the boat) was a major highlight.

And Maeve, this pic below is for you with love from Tori!

Heading off for tropical nana nap now...more island posts and pic coming.
